If you are looking for a beautiful blue flowering vine, take a look at this superb Polish variety developed by Szczepan Marczyński. Our expert David Wilson spotted this batch on one of our shipping wagons just before we were sent them to one of the leading garden centers in our Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern US region. Listen as he explains how established plants produce abundant double, bright blue flowers in early summer followed by single flowers on new growth in late summer and early Autumn.
David goes on to explain how our vigorous and healthy young plants also produce lots of fresh new growth, which is why our plants will have mostly single flowers. Once you get them home and established in their permanent positions for a couple of growing seasons they will carry double flowers as described above. Growing to about 7-9' it is a wonderful variety for training on trellis, arbors, fences, pergolas or on lamp posts with chicken wire attached.
