David Wilson from Overdevest Nurseries takes a look at Clematis Madame Julia Correvon. A terrific flowering vine for training up trellis, arbors and fences. It is nice and vigorous (growing to about 8-12') and is very useful for creating summer privacy as well as knockout color. It can be trained on porches, around lampposts and planted to sprawl over and through other shrubs and evergreens, old tree stumps and any other unsightly objects. The individual flowers are about 3" wide and they are produced in so much profusion that wherever you grow it the whole display will be a wall of vibrant red
