Lonicera Harlequin, a variegated honeysuckle has it all.... sweetly scented flowers, beautiful patterned leaves that have creamy-white and pink edges, tubular flowers that hummingbirds like to visit, and a vigorous yet non-invasive habit that doesn't need much upkeep. It is great on trellis, fences, arbors or twining around porches. It should be planted out close to seating areas so that the fragrance (which is at its best in the evening hours) can be enjoyed with every breath.
