Polemonium Stairway to Heaven PP# 15,187 is probably the best variegated Jacob's Ladder ever introduced. It has superb creamy white (sometimes pink tinged) ferny foliage and fragrant sky blue flowers. Forming a mound 12-16' high x about 14-18"wide this is a marvellous little plant for massing as ground cover or planting as single specimens in partially shaded locations. Developed from a native species (Polemonium reptans) it holds up well to heat and humidity and comes back each year much better than other variegated forms.
