The Mini Gallery™ series of lupins are short growing, compact, free flowering and early blooming versions of these much loved old fashioned cottage garden favorites! Warm, sunny days and cool nights, and moist (but free draining soils) bring out the best in lupines. Stately and very pretty, they are great for providing early color and vertical interest to beds& borders, cottage gardens and container plantings too, but sometimes taller sorts topple over and need staking.... but not this one! Short and stocky, it produces strong sturdy stems that stand up well of blustery early season conditions. Listen in as David reminiscences about his years growing them in the UK and explains how this one is much different, how you can choose the best position for them and how you can amend your soil conditions for the best performance and how you should think about diving them regularly to keep them going for longer periods.
