Join David in our Overdevest Nurseries as he recalls how these exceptional dwarf growing lupines - remind him of his childhood in Ireland. David explores three varieties from the Mini Gallery series, and describes how they are more compact and earlier blooming than other varieties; pink bi-color, red, and yellow. Lupines are a wonderful host for early pollinators, they love warm, sunny days and cool nights and look especially pretty when planted in masses. They have a green, clump like base with bright stems of color. In addition to the colorful spikes, lupines are very aromatic, and last well when cut and put in water, so they are a great flowers to cut and bring to inside for spring bouquets.
