Listen in as we take a look at a batch of Sedum 'Touchdown Teak' that is about to be delivered to one of our Hand Picked For You participating garden centers. It is one of the "First Look" plants for 2018 – which means that it is brand new and for the first time you can take part and report on the evaluation process. Here's what we know about it so far.... we expect the plants to make colorful, red-purple drought tolerant mounds that will be about 15" high by about the same wide. In summer it will be covered with masses of very pretty, rose-red flowers that butterflies and other pollinators, will enjoy. The total height when it is flowering should be no more than about 20", so it will easily fit in raised beds, rock gardens, sunny slopes and borders edging. It will make a superb container plant too, perfect for patio pots or swimming pool areas.
A favorite in our nursery, let us know what you think....
