This very hardy, compact and EASY to GROW shrub makes a bright eye-catching display with its GLOWING LEMON foliage and abundance of bright pink summer flowers. Changing through the seasons, it starts out in spring with orange tinted tips, that develop into a lovely rounded shape of bright lemon yellow foliage that gradually takes on chartreuse shades in summer, and then to orange-red autumn tints as the temperatures cool down. Its hardiness, shapely habit, reliability, ease of growth, deer resistance and bright color makes it a popular❤️️indispensable shrub for all sorts of sunny or partially shaded situations. Wonderful as a single specimen in beds and mixed borders, it is superb when massed in bold groups. Tight and compact, it is great for lining paths and driveways or edging borders. Makes a nice, low informal hedge too.
Prune in early spring before growth starts or after flowering to encourage repeat bloom.
